According to an FTC Press Release - The FTC has taken action to temporarily shut down another direct selling company.

A report published by the American Enterprise Institute (AEI) delved into efforts by the FTC to speed up decision-making processes through the establishment of rulemaking frameworks with less public input and more political control. AEI recently held a panel discussion with former FTC leaders to discuss the findings of the report and the direction of the current commission.

The FTC is continuing to increase its enforcement efforts to protect consumers by now looking to update it guidance when it comes to digital disclosers. Feeling that some companies have used the previous guides as a way to deceive customers, the FTC is looking for modernized guidelines to prevent any such deception in the future.
